Early in my career, a pivotal interview question shaped my future: “Why didn’t you pursue architecture after studying it at Kansas State University?”My answer revealed the truth—I was less drawn to designing buildings and more passionate about designing partner programs and indirect sales channels. That response landed me a role at a top-tier software company, where I discovered the striking parallels between architecture and partnership design: both require vision, planning, and flawless execution to bring ideas to life.
